A wood-fired clifftop sauna with a view that sells itself, finally given a website to match, with live tide times, online booking and a clear path through to its sister wellbeing practice.

Môr A Sawna is a wood-fired sauna perched on the cliffs above Jackson’s Bay in Barry Island, with panoramic views of the harbour, the lighthouse, the sandy shore and the dramatic cliff edges. The setting sells itself. The old website did not do it any justice at all. They run sauna sessions, memberships, gift cards and wellness events, and needed a site that finally felt as good as the experience.
When the product is a view and a feeling, the website has to carry both. It also had to handle the practical side: the sauna is only accessible for about two and a half hours either side of high tide, so visitors need to know when they can actually come. And it had to connect to the owner’s sister wellbeing practice, so a sauna guest could easily book a therapy session too.
A clean, modern, atmospheric rebuild that puts the clifftop and the bay front and centre, so the site finally feels like the place.
Real-time tide times on the site, so visitors instantly know the window when the sauna is accessible, with no guesswork and no wasted journeys.
Online booking for sessions, plus memberships, gift card purchasing and a newsletter sign-up, all built in.
A clear path through to Wellbeing South Wales, the owner’s sister practice, so one visit can easily become two.
Môr A Sawna now has a website worthy of the view: atmospheric, easy to book, and genuinely useful with live tide times built in. It flows naturally into the owner’s wellbeing practice, and across the two sites we cut their combined annual running costs by 30%.
